Fallen leaves of Hyde Park

You may notice from the leaves on the ground, again these photos are not recent. Actually I haven't taken any photos since Christmas (those are supposed to come later too). This was a happy, sunny day, when I went for the first time to Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland and went ice skating with friends (no longer am I afraid to get my fingers cut by skates) and, not knowing exactly how, got convinced to go on a ride with one of said friends, to the highest ride there. Of course if you know me well, you know I am scared of such things and kept my eyes shut during most of the time. Only opening them to enjoy the superb view of a London cold night from above. Now I am convinced I need to go on ride in the London Eye, despite my heights little issue.
As for things happening now, I feel like am neglecting this little corner too much lately. I just went to Waterloo last week to have my registration for the course I'll be starting in exactly a week. I am rather excited to be in that part of town more often now, with classes and all that, but I also know that, once I start it, I will have much less free time for the next 9 months. So every day off I get I usually do nothing very productive, but very relaxing (like today, watching all episodes of Sherlock available so far). Oh well, I need to try harder and if I do get my new camera in the end of this month, I feel that I will be more motivated!

Ah, so this is what you wore ice skating. Lovely!

I don't like heights or rides much, either. I often find myself romanticizing the idea of Ferris wheels, but I'm not convinced that I'd ever ride in one!

You look lovely!
Try opening your eyes when you go in the London Eye, I'm afraid of heights too but there you feel rather safe and it's so much worth the trouble!
Good luck and enjoy the post-grad scheme!

Ahh you should definitely go on the London Eye, it isn't that scary and if you can fly you can definitely face your fear of heights for it.

Oh girls, guess I didn't make my point clear. I have a little issue with heights, I don't like them when I feel unprotected, but I did climb Notre Dame and Arc du Triumph while in Paris and took the lift to the Eiffel Tower as well, so I think the London eye will not be too bad too. But just combining adrenaline and heights (like in said carnival rides) is just not for me, I actually feel sick. So London Eye is definitely on plans!

@Penny: Oh but the course is actually because of work! It is so I can take the next step in my profession ;) I'll take a lot of time from me and will require commitment, but I am looking forward to start it! Though at the same time I will be getting a DSLR camera and hope to have a little time to focus on improving photography, since it is a thing I'v been wanting to do for ages!
