Happy New Year

(a sneak peek of what I'm wearing today)

2010 was not a very good year in my life. Well, regarding blogging it was, but not in a personal or professional way. So I am quite excited to enter 2011, and put this past year behind me! I know  2011 will be much much better! I have news to announce really soon, and you can expect them to be good! I'll just give you a hint for now, I'll be moving again!
I don't have any resolutions for the new year, because I've made mine long before, but what are yours if you have?? I'd really like to know!

Happy 2011! I wish you all the best.

Best of 2010

A year in review.

January - Went to Madeira for 1 week and saw my boyfriend after 6 months apart. Got to wear light clothes in winter!

February - Back to Coimbra wearing cozy sweaters and a new haircut, with a fringe.

March - Went to Madeira again and started going out bare legged early!

April - Got to Madeira again in time for Easter with my H&M Garden Collection favourite dress and wore the navy blue skirt in two different occasions, once to the beach, which was the first time in my life I went to the beach so early in the year.

May - Addicted to my old denim jackets.

June - Travelling around the island of Madeira and got a haircut again.

July - Getting really really tanned.

August - Beach, summer parties and my birthday.

September - Time for jeans and sales bargains (wood and leather sandals for €10 and silk blouse for €6 both Zara).

October - Two outfits at Madeira (left and centre) and another back here at Coimbra (right).

November - Going to London, meeting blog friends and wearing the things I brought from there. And also dressing like a school girl.

December -Blue, black, hats and boots: always present to keep me warm.

Love Actually Is Everywhere

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas (or whatever you were celebrating if you were)! Thank you for all the wishes :)
This is what I wore at Christmas Eve, first to go to the cinema and watch Harry Potter (finally!) and then to have dinner with my family. The film is quite good, well it never reaches the books of course, but that's something I am used to. Anyway it was nice, when comparing to the other ones. My dinner with the family was really good, I think we hadn't been all together like that for a year!
What presents did you get? Tell me! I wasn't expecting anything special really, being grown up and with all this economic crisis, but apart money and chocolates (which is always nice!) I got two berets, a red one and a royal blue one, and a red circle scarf! They're so pretty I am sure they'll soon show up here.
Yes, I've just watched Love Actually again if you supposed that from the title...

Westrags dress and coat (via voucher won at giveaway)
H&M beret (it has a flower, though you can't see much of it)
Flea market 180 denier tights (really warm!)
Zara boots
Random black socks
Mango bag
*pictures by my sister

PS: I've completely changed the blog's layout, though I'm still not very sure about the background or the 3 columns, what do you think??
EDIT: I wasn't sure about the bows in the background so I changed into light grey, it looks a lot like my tumblr blog now.

Red, green and blue

Xmas2010.3

Christmas is coming!!
And because for me Christmas is always related to one of these colours I put together these 3 polyvore sets in order to get some inspiration for myself. And maybe inspire you too! Only if I had these items... or at least my whole wardrobe here to wear my dresses. Anyway I intend to wear the blue dress I ordered from Westrags at Christmas Eve.
What are your Christmas colours? (if you have any)

Soft and Neutral

I usually did not combine such neutral colours, as beige and grey, together. Though when I dug trough my suitcase (yes I still have all my clothes there) I knew I had to wear this skirt and my sister's grey flower print sweater together. I think it's a lovely soft combination, a bit toughened up by my black ankle boots from Zara, that I've been wearing practically every day. And it is weird that I have almost no pictures with them.

Zara Kids skirt
Lefties sweater (my sister's)
Hand me down cardigan (from my aunt)
Primark tights
Zara boots

Since I've been wearing these boots almost non-stop, and some of you really said you like them in my last post, I thought of posting these pictures where you can have a better look at them. These were taken at Zara's dressing rooms when I bought them. Also I really like that are mirror pictures. I don't think I have done it (or if i did, it was once or twice) in this blog, but in the past of personal style blogging most of girls would shot themselves this way, and some of them still do. So I think this is fun to post! And funny fact! I was wearing the same skirt and cardigan haha!
The heeled boots in the back were the ones I was wearing that day (my aunt gave them to me!), and the riding boots in the last picture are the ones I tried on at Zara as well, though the ankle boots beat them by far.
